As a Senior Technical Recruiter for Tenstorrent, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and closing the best engineering talent in AI, ML software engineering, CPU design, and hardware engineering. We want someone who thinks outside the box and takes a non-traditional approach to identifying candidates who might be successful at Tenstorrent. We prize problem solving, a team-first approach, a passion for learning, and excitement about our mission to build the best aI accelerators in the world.

First and foremost, this person will be responsible for bringing in top talent and building a talent network to support rapidly growing engineering and leadership teams. We seek experts in their craft who get excited by new challenges. We are looking for someone with strong ownership who can manage their time. We are open to remote or hybrid work for this position.


  • Identify and engage qualified passive and active candidates for roles across the Tenstorrent organization.
  • Manage the sourcing process, ensuring high-touch candidate experience
  • Communicate technical requirements and capably respond to candidate technical questions
  • Engage as the subject matter expert and serve as an advisor to internal clients with regards to technical staffing best practices.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels and develop innovative and effective sourcing strategies to ensure a qualified and diverse candidate pipeline.
  • Conduct the initial recruiter phone screens to sell candidates on Tenstorrent and ensure they meet qualifications
  • Make recommendations to improve sourcing processes to help us operate more efficiently at scale


  • At least 5 years experience in technical recruiting with experience assessing technical talent in one or more of the following fields: AI, ML, Software Engineering, Hardware Design, CPU Architecture, Systems Engineering.
  • Proficiency in traditional and unique sourcing techniques to include online social and professional networks, in addition to demonstrated ability to source beneath the surface
  • Ability to “manage up” and partner with hiring managers and talent leaders
  • Experience with Lever or Greenhouse, including reporting and CRM functionality
  • Strong organizational, time management, and written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within an evolving environment with changing needs and priorities

Location: We have presence in Toronto, Austin, Santa Clara, Portland, and Raleigh. We are open to remote candidates on a case by case basis.
